Dr Christos Tsirogiannis was selected by the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, Lord Colin Renfrew, to serve as a member of a small team of experts that will prepare a document regarding the effectiveness of the Dealing in Cultural Objects (Offences) Act 2003, listing recent cases of illicit antiquities that passed through the UK market.

Their findings will be presented to the Parliamentary Group in early April to assist in the construction of more effective legislation against antiquities trafficking.
