Glasgow’s Sociology rated number one in Scotland

Table

Last week, the Guardian’s University Guide 2014 placed Sociology at the University of Glasgow first in Scotland and second in the whole of the UK in its Sociology league table.

The league table, published by the Guardian newspaper, is based on feedback and satisfaction levels from undergraduate students. League tables were compiled for all the major subject areas taught at universities in the UK. For Sociology, Glasgow finished second only to the University of Cambridge.

The Trafficking Culture team do not feed directly into undergraduate teaching, being a research-focused project. However, we would like to congratulate our colleagues in the wider School for an excellent result and we are proud to be situated within the Sociology subject area at the University of Glasgow.
