Dr Brodie speaking on Trafficking of Syrian Cultural Objects, Brown Uni, 4 April

Neil Brodie will be in Providence, Rhode Island, today to speak at the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology at Brown University. His talk is entitled: The Theft and Trafficking of Cultural Objects from Syria, and it is part of a year-long lecture series called “Combating Crisis: New Responses to Cultural Heritage Preservation in the Middle East” sponsored by the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology, in collaboration with the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology, the Cogut Center for Humanities, and the Program in Middle East Studies.
Dr Brodie’s talk will be at the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology, Rhode Island Hall, Room 108 and starts at 5:30PM on 4 April 2017.
